A Tuscan tradition, reflected in glass
Artmirror was born from the desire to create mirrors of absolute excellence in Sovicille, in the Sienese countryside, continuing a centuries-old Tuscan tradition in glass processing.
Artisans with thirty years of experience in the field, the finest raw materials available on the market, limited production and an obsessive care for detail: these are the ingredients at the heart of our journey.
The process
Artisanal mastery, from cutting to silvering
01Cutting
Every sheet is cut by hand, with tremendous skill, following the design of the model.
02Shaping
Each piece is individually shaped in high-temperature ovens, where the glass takes its final form.
03Silvering
The heart of the mirror, where the emotions it must convey come to life. It is carried out exclusively inside our workshop.
04Gold leaf
In our precious collections, gold and silver leaf is applied by hand, making every piece unique.
Design
New ideas, born in the classroom too
Alongside our registered designs, we work with young designers. The Cut mirror was born from a university workshop with Florentine designer Matteo Dolfi: the selected project was put into production in our workshop.
